A lotta bling, short on talent

There are many reasons why I've grown to hate, HATE popular hip hop. But, P Diddy's reason for changing his already ridiculous monicker from P Diddy to just plain ol' Diddy really epitomizes the absurdity of, not only the hip hop world, but pop stars in general:

"We had to move the P. We had to simplify it. Diddy is more personal. We are entering into the age of Diddy. It's a new era...(Diddy) is a little bit more
personal. I've let down my guard. I'm fully exposed."

OK. How does going just by Diddy make you more
exposed, Sean? Oh wait. Maybe you forgot your
name. It's Sean Combs. Not Diddy. Not Puff. It's
fucking Sean, asshole!

Are you so devoid of talent, that taking the "P" out
of your name qualifies as news? Is that best you can
do? What about writing some new music? And by this I mean your own music-not sampling someone else's shit and then rhyming over it.

Maybe you should put away your bling and pick up an instrument. Oh wait. That would require talent wouldn't it?

Diddy's new album is due out in the fall. Will there
be anything on it worth talking about other than the
missing "P?"

Doubt it. But, let's hope.
